Azorte is a concept store designed for the first time. It is a department store with a unique blend of high-street apparel that brings together the best of contemporary Indian and international fashion.
We made all the fixtures for this store, including wall fixtures, floor fixtures, sofas, a digital entrance arch and an infinity mirror. All the engineering was done at our factory, based on the concept from the design team.
Product highlight: Most of the store is made with custom solid surface, used for shelves, podiums, nesting tables, the cash counter and bottom storage units. Every storage unit with shutters or drawers is clad in solid surface. The digital entrance arch and infinity mirror were unique and challenging to execute. Unlike a regular department store, Azorte has many furniture designs for different segments of the store.
What we built. Complete store fixtures including wall-shelving systems, custom nesting tables, floor gondolas and fluted sofas for retail seating.
Materials and finishes. Custom-developed solid surface, mild steel, stainless steel, paint finish on MDF.
The detail that mattered. Extensive use of custom-developed solid surface demanded skilled fabrication; execution of the infinity mirror was another challenge.
